Recently, the COSCO Asia vessel docked at Xiamen Port's Hairun Terminal, marking the official launch of COSCO Shipping's newly established South America West Coast Line 3 (WSA3). Designated as the inaugural port of call, Xiamen Port further enhances the route network connecting Xiamen to South America's western region, providing an efficient and convenient maritime corridor for seamless regional trade flows.

First Voyage Achieves Impressive Results

During this inaugural voyage, approximately 1,200 TEUs of container operations were completed. Export cargoes featured a diverse range of high-value-added goods, including automotive components, architectural ceramics, quartz and stone products, and infant daily necessities. This demonstrates Xiamen Port's robust capabilities as an international shipping hub, effectively driving industrial development in its hinterland and showcasing seamless connectivity with the outside world.
