From December 1, 2025, a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) of USD 200 per TEU will be imposed on cargo shipped from Asia and Oceania to ports in West and Central Africa. The specific coverage is as follows:

Congo (Brazzaville): Pointe Noire

Congo (Kinshasa): Matadi, Boma

Gabon: Libreville, Port Gentil

Equatorial Guinea: Bata, Malabo

Cameroon: Kribi, Douala

Namibia: Walvis Bay

Special Note

1. Refrigerated cargo: The cost for shipping refrigerated containers to Cameroon remains at USD 1,000 per TEU.  

2. Effective Date: Subject to the shipment date, it shall be implemented from December 1, 2025, with subsequent adjustments to be notified separately.

3. Scope of application:

Departure points: Brunei, Cambodia, China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan), Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam in Asia and Oceania, as well as Australia, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Wallis and Futuna Islands.  

Container type: All container types are subject to a fee of USD 200 per TEU.

The adjustment aims to cope with the tight capacity and fluctuating operating costs during the peak season of African routes. It is recommended that export enterprises plan their logistics budgets in advance.
