Recently, Hapag-Lloyd announced that a new Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) adjustment will soon take effect for shipments from Asia and Oceania to the ports of Mombasa, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Effective Date: November 16, 2025 (on/off date)
Applicable to all cargo loaded
Until further notice

Countries/Regions from Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, Macau, China, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Countries/Regions from Oceania: Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna Islands.
