Hudong-Zhonghua Successfully Delivers World's Largest 24,000 TEU Container Ship, Perfectly Concluding Evergreen Marine's Series of Projects
Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding successfully delivered the 24,000 TEU ultra-large container vessel EVER ALLY to Evergreen Marine on October 8, marking the successful completion of the five-vessel series construction project. At the delivery ceremony, EVA's shipyard representative, Liu Xuedong, Deputy General Manager of Hudong-Zhonghua Changxing Shipyard, and Xiong Kechao, representative of China Shipbuilding Trading, jointly signed the delivery documents. Guests including Wang Jiaying, Assistant General Manager of Hudong-Zhonghua, attended and witnessed the event.
Throughout construction, Hudong-Zhonghua achieved high-quality delivery by optimizing resource allocation. The project team collaborated closely with Evergreen's supervision team, demonstrating efficient coordination in technical matters and production management. The successful delivery of EVER ALLY embodies the “continuous improvement” construction philosophy, where the team refined processes based on lessons learned from the first four sister ships (EVER YI, EVER YUN, EVER CHONG, EVER NIAN) to significantly enhance construction efficiency and quality.
This delivery not only showcases Hudong-Zhonghua's leading capabilities in the ultra-large container ship sector but also lays a crucial foundation for achieving its 2025 delivery targets. The company remains steadfast in its “customer-first” principle, continuously providing high-quality vessels to global clients.
