CNC Line has recently launched the NT8 China-Thailand Express Line, focusing on direct maritime services between major ports in northern and southern China and Thailand's Laem Chabang Port. This route connects four major export hubs—Tianjin (Xingang), Dalian, Qingdao, and Shekou—with direct service to Thailand's largest container port, Laem Chabang, forming a closed-loop transportation network. The maiden voyage is scheduled for January 17, 2026, operated by the vessel “CMA CGM QUELIMANE.”

The specific port sequence is: Tianjin → Dalian → Qingdao → Hong Kong → Shekou → Laem Chabang → Hong Kong → Nansha → Tianjin. This route covers China's core coastal foreign trade hubs and extends coverage to the entire Thai and Southeast Asian markets via Laem Chabang. As a regional hub, Laem Chabang Port handles substantial transshipment of electromechanical products, agricultural goods, and daily consumer goods, serving as a critical link in the China-Thailand supply chain.

The NT8 service emphasizes “faster transit times and enhanced coverage,” addressing previous challenges where some northern cargo required detours or transshipments. For foreign trade enterprises searching long-tail keywords like “China-Thailand direct shipping routes,” “Lampang Port schedules,” or “China-Thailand sea freight transit times,” this new channel promises improved shipment efficiency and reduced logistics uncertainty.

Objectively speaking, under the RCEP framework, China-Thailand trade continues to heat up, driving a clear rise in demand for stable, high-frequency short-sea routes. CNC's current deployment isn't merely about adding capacity but optimizing regional network structures, particularly providing exporters in North China and Northeast China with a more direct southbound maritime route. If it can subsequently ensure on-time performance and sufficient container supply, NT8 could become a highly cost-effective logistics option within the region.
